Numa I Hallen Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Numa I Hallen Apartments on Tollbugata, you immediately get that “I’m in the thick of things” feeling. This three-star property sits right in the heart of Oslo, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has that understated Scandinavian charm — nothing flashy, but clean lines and a sense of purpose that feels very Norwegian.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally steps away from everything that matters in Oslo’s city center. I mean, couples are rating the location 9.7 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You can walk to the main shopping areas, slip into cozy cafés, or head toward the waterfront without breaking a sweat. The neighborhood has this perfect mix of local life and tourist attractions, so you’re not stuck in some sterile hotel district. Actually, Tollbugata itself is one of those streets where you’ll find both business people grabbing lunch and visitors figuring out their next move.
The Apartment Experience
What sets this place apart is the apartment setup — you’re not getting a standard hotel room, but rather a proper living space. Each unit comes with a kitchenette, which honestly saves you a fortune when Oslo’s restaurant prices hit you (and trust me, they will). The spaces feel modern and functional, with that minimalist Nordic design that somehow makes even compact areas feel spacious. You know what’s nice? Having somewhere to actually unpack and settle in, rather than living out of a suitcase for your entire stay.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast situation here is pretty solid — they do both continental and vegetarian options, which covers most bases. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s fresh, well-prepared, and gets you fueled up for exploring the city. Having that kitchen space means you can also grab groceries from the nearby shops and prepare simple meals, which I’d definitely recommend doing at least once. There’s something satisfying about making coffee in your own space before heading out to tackle Oslo’s museums or waterfront areas.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t a high-end property, but it delivers exactly what it promises — a comfortable, well-located base for exploring Oslo. The 8.8 rating speaks to consistent quality and smart management. Couples especially seem to appreciate having their own space in such a central location, and I can see why. You get the independence of an apartment with the services of a hotel, all while being positioned perfectly to experience the best of Oslo. The value proposition is strong, particularly when you factor in the money you’ll save by having cooking facilities and the time you’ll save by walking everywhere instead of dealing with transport.

The staff was helping me with all my questions online. I was impressed by how fast they were answering. All the information about reaching and entering the apartment was clear and easy to find on WhatsApp and also via email.
The room was clean , spacious and had everything I needed from bathroom equipment (towels, hair dryer etc). I loved the small details like coffee capsules and small water bottles. I didn't use the kitchen at all but it was also fully equipped.
The location is amazing. It is in the city center, 5-7 minutes from the Opera, 5 minutes from the main train station.
