What I love most is that you’re close enough to everything that matters, but Prinsens gate itself isn’t crazy busy, so you actually get some peace when you want it.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was genuinely spacious — and I mean that, because Oslo hotel rooms can be pretty compact. There’s actually space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your luggage. The windows are decent-sized, so you get good natural light during those long summer days (or what little daylight there is in winter, depending on when you visit). The design keeps things simple and functional, which works well when you’re spending most of your time exploring the city anyway.

Practical Perks

Here’s what I really appreciated — the whole setup just makes sense for travelers. You’ve got everything you need without unnecessary frills that would just bump up the price. The building feels solid and well-maintained, and honestly, the staff knows their stuff about the neighborhood. They pointed me toward a great little café just two blocks away that I never would have found otherwise. Plus, getting around is super easy from here — the tram stops are close, and if you’re into walking, most of central Oslo is totally doable on foot.

  Spacious and beautiful apartment with a great location. We loved this apartment and wish we had more nights there. It was very comfortable and we finally got good sleep here. It was so great to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The sofa bed was perfect for my two kids and quite comfortable with the mattress topper on top. Communication with the hosts was great.

  We liked the location of the property as well as the cleanliness. Our host, Tommy, was a great help. Any questions that we had and recommendations were very helpful. The apartment is in walking to the central train station which is very good for travelers. We would recommend this property anyone who is looking for comfort and being nearby to all the city attractions. We hope to be back in Norway sometime in the future.

  Super gute Lage, sehr grosses Zimmer mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung war gut, man hätte gut kochen können, ausreichend Stauraum. Trotz Lage zur Strasse hin haben die Fenster ausreichend gut isoliert, so dass es nicht gestört hat.
